Fun read (or listen) I had a similar close relationship with my Nana. Weekly visits, no booze though. The book brought back fond memories.Funny; Sad; Exhilarating but Left Me in Tears - MUST-READ... I was expecting something a little on the wild side and, I suppose, there was some of that. I also was prepared for a great deal of profanities to shock me, but there was none of that. So, what was there?One of the more touching short memoirs I have ever come across. Although I am certainly no comic like the author, in many ways I did identify with him. Well, in a few ways. Unfortunately, if my soul were measured up against his, I would be woefully lacking.What this author did for his fellow black sheep, his grandmother, is what ever grandson should do for at least one of his grandparents. He gave her a life worth living at an age when most people are simply waiting to die.I got the free audible edition and listened to it and recommend each person do likewise. The narration by the author is not as smooth as the writing reads, but it is all the more valuable because he reads his own thoughts and speculations to us.BLUSH FACTOR: No worries here. This is suitable for all audiences.POV: First person.WRITING & EDITING: Professional. Easy to Read.
